Cocktail del Cejas $12: Large shrimp prepared in Mexican cocktail sauce made fresh with cilantro, avocado and lime.

Quesadillas $9: Cheese with chicken, steak, ground beef, carnitas (pork), veggies, chorizo or rajas. With lettuce/pico de gallo, guacamole, sour cream.

Empanadas del Cejas $9: Two corn empanadas stuffed with cheese and your choice of chicken, fish, mushrooms, or beef.

Ceviche $12: Citrus-marinated fish, shrimp, or combo ceviche served in the traditional Mexican style.

Las Velas Flautas $9: Flour tortillas around a chicken, cheese, onions. Served with creamy chipotle sauce.

Nachos Madero $9: Chips topped with black beans, cheese, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. Choose meat or veggies.

Stuffed Jalapeños $9: Fresh jalapeños, skinned and stuffed with fresco cheese, ground beef and chorizo. Creamy tamarindo honey sauce. 

Sopecitos $10: Four small thick corn tortillas topped one each of chicken, steak, chorizo, and carnitas, with beans, salsa, onions, cilantro and fresco cheese.

Tortilla Soup $6.5/Bowl • $3/Cup: Chipotle chicken broth, sliced avocado, onions, cilantro, tortilla strips and fresco cheese.

Black Bean Soup $6.5/Bowl • $3/Cup: With cumin, salsa and lime.

Sopa Cancun $7/Bowl • $3/Cup: Freshly made chicken broth, rice, shredded chicken, diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, avocado, and jalapeno peppers on the side.

Sopa de Mariscos $10: Nicely spiced, a traditional seafood broth with peas, carrots, potatoes, fish, and shrimp.

Fajita Salad $11: A bed of romaine lettuce topped with your choice of meat, hot grilled onions, peppers and melted cheese. Served with creamy vinaigrette.

Burrito salad $10: Tortilla-free meal with beans, lettuce, grilled peppers/onions, salsa roja, pico de gallo, cheese and your choice of meat. (Shrimp, add $3).

Ensalada Brisas $12: Marinated shrimp, orange and avocado slices, tortilla strips, and fresco cheese served on a bed of spinach leaves. With honey pasilla vinaigrette.

Fiesta Salad $12: Black beans, chopped red peppers, corn and cilantro infused with garlic lime and topped with jicama sticks and creamy chipotle drizzle.

Three Tacos $12

  • Chicken, carnitas, steak, ground beef, chorizo or veggies.
  • Mexican style: onions and cilantro or Tex Mex: lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream ($.50 extra).
  • Salsas: taquera (mild), pastor (sweet, medium), aguacate (hot), habarracha (hottest).

Fish Tacos $12 : Three tacos with freshly breaded tilapia, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, and creamy chipotle sauce.

Shrimp Tacos $14: Three tacos with grilled or freshly breaded shrimp, pico de gallo, avocado, and El Timon’s creamy salsa.

Mahi-mahi Tacos $13: Three grilled mahi-mahi tacos topped with pico de gallo, avocado, and a creamy chipotle-mustard sauce.

Enchiladas $13: Four enchiladas with your choice of meat bathed in our green sauce, red sauce or molé rojo, topped with chopped onions, cilantro, sour cream, fresco cheese.

Tamales $12.5: Two traditional cornmeal tamales steamed in banana leaves. Choose chicken, pork, or veggies.

Milanesas Obregon $15.5: Hand-breaded thinly sliced chicken or steak specially marinated in spices and wine.

En mole poblano $15.5: Slow-cooked molé rojo sauce smothered on your choice of chicken or pork. Corn or flour tortillas.

Chiles Rellenos $16 : Poblano peppers dipped in batter, stuffed with cheese and your choice of chicken, steak or pork. Covered with a savory lightly spiced red sauce.

Chilaquiles $12: Crunchy tortilla chips soaked in green salsa, topped with chicken or steak, chopped onions and cilantro, fresco cheese, and sour cream.

A la Tampiquena $17: A traditional Mexican recipe of chicken or steak marinated in beer and spices.

Velada $19.5: Half of a fresh pineapple shell filled with chicken, steak, fish, shrimp, chorizo, peppers, onions, cilantro and cheese. With tortillas, sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo.

Veracruzana: There’s a medium heat to this dish that uses a chipotle-hinted tomato sauce combined with jalapeno peppers, green peppers, green olives.

Diabla: This dish is called “diabla” due to the intense heat of the habanero pepper. Chipotle adobo adds to the smoky flavor of this red sauce.

Mexicana: One of the most common means of preparing meat, poultry and fish in Mexico, this recipe uses jalapeno peppers, tomatoes, and onions.

Mango/chipotle: This sauce is unique for its dual sweet-yet-smoky and spicy flavor. Sautéed onions add to the flavor, culminating in a savory dish.

Al cilantro: It’s the cilantro, of course, that gives this sauce its green, almost pesto-like consistency. Those customers who enjoy the cilantro-infused house salsa will find this a sure favorite.
